“When all else fails, read the instructions”

I’m was in a place where I’m struggled in my relationship with God. Not questioning the existence of Him, but questioning if I’m loving Him with everything I have, if I’m loving Him more than life itself.

I wondered if there were anything more to reading daily devotions, going to church and going for cell groups. And there is indeed more. I have come to the realisation that I have the greatest love “manual” in the world, the Bible, which I have been using the wrong way: I have been trying to understand the words in the Bible rather than trying to love the person the words are describing. Love God with your heart, not your mind.
